Is Facebook competing with the likes Salesforce, Marketo, an Adobe Company, HubSpot and email marketing tools such as Pardot ?

Has anyone seen this feature? I’m keen to explore it.

I feel email is still the underestimated beast where if executed well, it will drive amazing engagement, and the Power House of Facebook seem to think so as well.

I think this is something for b2b marketers need think about. Facebook is generally not considered a strong channel by b2b businesses and should be thought about from a strategic perspective.

So how does it work?

Facebook pages owners will be able to send customised marketing emails via their page.

Seemingly, any emails you do send through this process will be delivered via your ‘business.mailbyfb.com’ email address which is attached to your account, though as noted, any email contacts need to be manually uploaded. You can’t simply use the emails that people have listed on their Facebook profiles.
